I did a double take driving back to the studio this afternoon when I saw these icicles formed by our beautiful New England weather on the side of I-93 in Braintree. Had to go back and risk life and limb parking on the shoulder of a major interstate to get this picture (totally worth it).

I was walking to an assignment in Needham this morning when I noticed that I was surrounded by beauty.

Looking back over a tough week

"And we do that because of who we are. And we do that because we know that somewhere around the bend a stranger has a cup of water. Around the bend, somebody is there to boost our spirits. On that toughest mile, just when we think that we’ve hit a wall, someone will be there to cheer us on and pick us up if we fall. We know that."

I’m starting to look back through my photos from the Marathon and everything afterwards with a fresh set of eyes, and I didn’t make it far.  Stopped on this one.
